Laser dental implantation is not an accurate definition, although it is quite widespread. It would be more correct to speak about dental implantation with the use of a laser, since this instrument does not participate in the process of directly placing the implant but can only be used at the stage of tissue incision.

Laser implantation can only be discussed as a method of gum incision; the implant placement technology itself remains traditional. Dental implantation is not performed with a laser.

A laser is a device that passes a laser beam through a crystal or semiconductor. This beam can be used to affect soft or hard tissues.

Absolutely all teeth whitening products contain chemicals that harm teeth. Therefore, after whitening (whether at home or at a clinic), teeth remineralization must be performed.

During laser whitening, a smaller amount of chemical substance is applied to the teeth, but thanks to the light effect, whitening occurs better. It is important to understand that any whitening, including with a laser, is a direct path to dental implantation. Patients must understand the full extent of the risk.
